Mach 1 Global Services Announces Chicago Station Expansion and Relocation

Mach 1 Global Services, a Domestic and International Provider of Transportation and Logistics Services, announces today that it has expanded its Chicago branch to a new location in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, effective July 31, 2017.

Mach 1 entered the Chicago market in 2003 and this new facility will enhance a full portfolio of services to include Domestic and International Air, Ground, and Ocean Freight. In addition to offering traditional Freight Forwarding Services, this operation will serve as a primary hub for Mach 1’s internal Linehaul Network, Warehousing, and Contract Logistics for local Chicagoland clients.

While supporting the 15th Holiday of Hope on Tour event and Project Toy Drop, Central Transport hauled more than $500,000 worth of toys, educational items, games and other necessities to local children in need.

During the events, city and county officials, firefighters, and community volunteers to bring happiness, joy and hope to children, while also fostering better relationships within the community.

3rd Annual Truck Pull To Raise Funds For United Way

July 27, 2017 – Moncton, N.B. – Think you have what it takes to pull a 60,000 lb. tractor trailer? Find out by joining the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick as it hosts the 3rd annual Pulling for United Way corporate and high school challenge on September 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Moncton.

Businesses, community organizations, and local area high schools are invited join in this fun downtown event by registering teams and compete by pulling a 60,000 lb. tractor trailer a distance of 125 feet, in the fastest time.

“United Way is proud to partner with Midland Transport on this exciting event. It was a tough competition last year for the coveted Midland Green Cup and we are expecting another year of fierce competition. We are incredibly grateful to everyone for supporting this event,” says Kirk Muise, 2017 Campaign Chair.
