This past weekend, our team at Midland Courier successfully upgraded our operational and administrative systems in order to serve you better.

Continuous improvement is a core value at Midland. We listen, learn, and pursue new ways to progress and develop. It is with that value in mind, and our vision to be the best service provider in the markets we serve, that we initiated project Fusion—a strategic initiative to significantly upgrade and enhance our business systems.

In order to improve our ability to deliver superior quality service, we partnered with several key vendors to build a solution that would enable us to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. For the past two years, we worked with our vendors to customize, build, and implement this system.

We offer our reliable heated service on all Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Truckload (TL), and Courier shipments. Don’t take the chance — If your delicate shipment requires a warm environment, we’ve got you protected.

Call your local Midland terminal for a pick-up and specify that you would like to take advantage of Midland’s Heated Service to protect your freight! Ensure the “Maintain Heat” box is checked off on your Bill of Lading.

“Gold Medal” For Safe Driving

August 2, 2017- Gilles Godbout, a truck driver and owner-operator with Midland, is celebrating a very special achievement – 5 million miles accident free! He joins an exclusive club, as he is only the third person to receive this distinction. Gilles was recently honoured at the Million Mile Banquet, which recognizes Midland driving professionals who have reached milestones of accident-free driving.

Gilles is humbled by the recognition he’s been receiving. His co-workers at the terminals are offering many words of congratulations. His wife posted pictures on Facebook of him getting the award and it received over 400 likes.

3rd Annual Truck Pull To Raise Funds For United Way

July 27, 2017 – Moncton, N.B. – Think you have what it takes to pull a 60,000 lb. tractor trailer? Find out by joining the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick as it hosts the 3rd annual Pulling for United Way corporate and high school challenge on September 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Moncton.

Businesses, community organizations, and local area high schools are invited join in this fun downtown event by registering teams and compete by pulling a 60,000 lb. tractor trailer a distance of 125 feet, in the fastest time.

“United Way is proud to partner with Midland Transport on this exciting event. It was a tough competition last year for the coveted Midland Green Cup and we are expecting another year of fierce competition. We are incredibly grateful to everyone for supporting this event,” says Kirk Muise, 2017 Campaign Chair.
