LIMA, Pa.—February 14, 2017— Pilot Freight Services (Pilot), a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, announced today that it closed 2016 with record revenue of $591.3 million, a 4.5 percent increase from its 2015 revenue of $565 million.

The company handled a record 1.6 million shipments in 2016, an increase of 16.1 percent over the prior year. This accomplishment is a testament to Pilot’s investment in IT amidst a technology-driven industry, and its meticulous upkeep of driver and staff training.
