USTR Completes Conference on TTIP Status

On October 7, 2016 the United States Trade Representative (USTR) released remarks made by both the U.S. and EU Chief Negotiators, Dan Mullaney and Ignacio Garcia-Bercero at a press conference on the status of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP).
In the statement Mullaney explains that, “We achieved forward movement in investment, state-to-state dispute settlement, cross-border services, financial services, government procurement, environment, labor, agriculture, including market access and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) measures, industrial tariffs, energy and raw materials, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and legal and institutional issues.”
