TRNet Statement Regarding LandAir Express

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (January 13, 2016) —The Reliance Network will no longer include LandAir Express of New England. The TRNet carriers have worked proactively to recover and deliver all shipments that were destined for LandAir’s network in NY and New England.

Serving and protecting relationships with our customers has always been our first priority. TRNet will continue to provide service to customers throughout North America.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (January 6, 2016) — The Reliance Network executive committee was made aware that one of its members, LandAir Express of New England, was in an out-of-service operating status. Reacting quickly during the holiday season, the TRNet team took action to identify resources to deliver freight currently in our system.

We certainly regret delays experienced by some of our customers during this time and are working to make sure all shipments are delivered as soon as possible. We have full confidence in our ability to continue to provide reliable service throughout North America.

FORT SMITH, Arkansas, January 14, 2016 — ABF Freight®, an ArcBest company (Nasdaq: ARCB), is honoring 10 dockworkers with membership in the 2016 ABF Freight Load Team, an elite group of top freight-handling professionals from distribution centers throughout the ABF Freight North American network.

The 2016 Load Team members and their service centers are: Marc Abrahams of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; Derek Jones of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Chris Barlett of Dayton, Ohio; Gary Odom of Little Rock, Arkansas; David Borem of South Chicago, Illinois; Javiel Pena of Dallas; Jay Bouck of Salt Lake City; Marcus Rushin Jr. of Atlanta; Gerald Coleman II of Kansas City, Missouri; and Stephen Trueblood of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Load Team members are selected on the basis of their safety records, involvement in ABF Freight’s Quality Process, personal integrity and their ability to load trailers in an optimal fashion — all skills that facilitate the safe, timely and efficient movement of shipments. The Load Team program was established in 1994 to honor outstanding performance and to draw upon dock employees’ insights regarding dock procedures and equipment.
