Mach 1 Global Services Announces New PIT Facility

Mach 1 Global Services, a provider of international and domestic transportation and logistics services, announced today that the move into their Pittsburgh facility is complete and the terminal is now fully functional. The expansion into the new facility gives Mach 1 the largest and newest freight forwarding operation in the Pittsburgh market.

Mach 1 has had a strong local presence through company-owned facilities in the Pittsburgh market since 2004. The doors to the new building opened in August and the move has already yielded a positive impact for current Mach 1 clients and has allowed for expanded freight solution offerings for potential clients. The new location provides additional warehouse capacity and office space allowing more opportunity for operational and sales growth in the market.

Mach 1 Global Services Announces New MSP Facility

November 12, 2015 – Tempe, Arizona – Mach 1 Global Services, an international provider of transportation and logistics services, announced today that it has expanded their MSP branch into a new location in Owatonna, Minnesota. Doors opened on October 1, 2015.

This office is the new home of the Mach 1 Global Services Truckload Brokerage Division which was established in June of 2013. This new facility, in addition to providing truckload brokerage services, will also deliver the full Mach 1 portfolio of services including domestic and international air, ground, and ocean freight.

Hank Bartos to Assume Interim Leadership Role at Con-way Truckload

Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW) announced today that Hank M. Bartos has been named interim president of Con-way Truckload, the company’s nationwide full-truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo.

Bartos takes over as interim president following the appointment last week of former Con-way Truckload President Joseph M. Dagnese to his new position as president of Con-way Freight, the company’s regional and national less-than-truckload carrier. Bartos will serve in this interim leadership capacity at Con-way Truckload over the next several months while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.

Bartos is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience across trucking, air freight and logistics with the Con-way organization. He currently serves as vice president of operations for Con-way Enterprise Services at the company’s administrative and information technology campus in Portland, Ore.

Company relocates to larger building in anticipation of growth

FORT SMITH, Arkansas, June 22, 2015 — ABF LogisticsSM, an ArcBest company (Nasdaq: ARCB), will open its new office in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, June 24 at 4 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting at 1331 W. Memorial Drive Suite 106. Jim Ingram, ABF Logistics president, along with other ABF Logistics leaders, will host the event.

Earlier this year, ABF Logistics purchased Oklahoma City-based Smart Lines LLC as a platform for growth. Relocation to the new 100-seat facility will accommodate additional employees as the company grows. “The new positions will be professional-level jobs that are good for the Oklahoma City economy, offering team members an opportunity to work for a growing company and pursue individual career growth,” said Ingram.

The new 13,000-square-foot facility will house both sales and operations teams that specialize in truckload brokerage and intermodal transport.

Con-way Inc. Elects New Board Members

Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW) announced that Gretchen W. McClain and Matthew J. Espe have been appointed to the Con-way Inc. Board of Directors. The appointments were effective June 16.

Joe Dagnese Named President of Con-way Freight

Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW) announced today that Joseph M. (Joe) Dagnese has been named president of Con-way Freight, the company’s regional and national less-than truckload (LTL) subsidiary and largest operating unit.

Dagnese assumes his new position immediately, succeeding W. Gregory Lehmkuhl, who resigned as president of Con-way Freight to pursue an opportunity as chief executive officer of a private equity-owned company.

Dagnese, a 32-year veteran of the transportation and logistics industry, moves into the top leadership role at Con-way Freight from Con-way Truckload, where he served as its president.
