EDEN PRAIRIE, Minnesota (March 18, 2021) — Global logistics company C.H. Robinson announced that Freightview, its transportation management system for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), is recognized as the FedEx 2021 Compatible Solution of the Year. Freightview was selected for its innovative approach to freight automation and parcel connectivity for SMB and e-commerce customers, a traditionally underserved segment in the transportation management system (TMS) marketplace.
A series of factors have increased the rate at which businesses of all sizes are seeking out technology to drive improved savings, performance, and visibility across their supply chain.
“The pandemic has increased disruptions for every business, accelerating the need for shippers to digitally transform their logistics operations. Being able to pivot quickly and adapt to changing market conditions and demands can be especially challenging for SMBs, which often have limited resources and technology options available,” said Megan Orth, C.H. Robinson Director of Platform Integrations. “Freightview’s integration with FedEx is one of the ways that we help these companies benefit from the latest supply chain technology so they can save time and money, compete in a challenging environment, and meet customer demands.”
The FedEx Compatible Program, which Freightview joined in 2018, features software solutions that are focused on enhancing e-commerce, SMB, and freight automation operations. Solutions in the program feature FedEx integrations so customers have seamless access to book parcel and other FedEx shipping services, all within a technology platform they are already using to manage freight.
