Aramex Net Profit Surges 38% in Q3 2018

Aramex (DFM: ARMX), the leading global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, today announced its financial results for the third quarter ended 30th September 2018.

Aramex’s Q3 2018 net profit surged by 38% to AED 113 million, compared to AED 82 million in Q3 2017. Net profit for the nine-month period ending September 30th, increased by 25% to AED 339 million compared to AED 270 million in the prior year period.

Revenue for the quarter rose by 8% to AED 1,239 million, compared to AED 1,143 million in Q3 2017. Revenue for the nine-month period ending September 30th also increased by 8% to AED 3,661 million, compared to AED 3,397 million in the corresponding period of 2017.

The premium potato offering answers consumer demand with minimal preparation

Developed through a shared passion for producing high-quality products for consumers, these bite-sized, creamy potato options were created. This product line answers a consumer demand for a flavorful staple with convenient packaging that requires no prep work and is ready to heat and eat.

The Perfect Potato line includes bite-sized pre-washed potatoes that come in three convenient sizes — 1.5-pound pouches, 5-pound pouches and 1-pound microwaveable trays. The 1-pound microwaveable tray packs include seasoning pairings with each of the following potatoes:

  • Radiant Red: red potatoes are paired with a Zesto Pesto spice packet, combining pesto with a pinch of Italian spices.
  • Yummy Yellow: yellow potatoes are matched up with a Steakhouse Sizzle spice packet — a blend of salt, cracked pepper and traditional steakhouse flavors.

  • Marvelous Medley: red, yellow and purple potatoes are combined with a Hawaiian Red Sea Salt seasoning pack.

C.H. ROBINSON ANNOUNCES CHARITABLE DONATIONS OF OVER $1 MILLION

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (Oct. 24, 2018) — C.H. Robinson, the global third-party logistics (3PL) leader, today announced that it will contribute $1,030,000 in 2018 to non-profit organizations in North America, Europe and Asia.

Approximately $350,000 in grants funding from the C.H. Robinson Foundation is being given to non-profits in the company’s headquarters state of Minnesota. Grant recipients are selected by a committee made of employees from across the company and the Foundation board, and focus on educational success for at-risk youth, hunger prevention, affordable housing, crisis needs and health-related causes.

Other C.H. Robinson Foundation programs contribute to employee gift and volunteer match programs, a hardship fund to support employees during a time of need, disaster relief funds, and undergraduate scholarship programs.
