C.H. Robinson Europe B.V. announced today that Nikolay Pargov has joined the company as Operations Director, Europe Transportation. Pargov brings 13 years of experience to the role, which includes leading the region’s capacity teams. He will also serve on the Europe leadership team, which is focused on growing the company’s presence in the region.

“The knowledge and range of specialised experience that Nikolay brings to this position makes him well qualified to lead C.H. Robinson’s capacity teams in Europe,” said Eijsink. “We are excited to add yet another industry expert to our strong European leadership team.”

CBP Announces Updated ACE Transition Timeline

On September 8, 2016 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) #16-000793 announcing that as a result of a readiness assessment for the post-release capacity transition, CBP has moved the mandatory date from October 1 to October 29, 2016.

According to the notice, as a result of the readiness assessment, CBP decided, “to allow additional time for our trade stakeholders to transition these capabilities to ACE.”
