Roadrunner Transportation Systems Reports 2016 Second Quarter Results and Revises 2016 Guidance
Cudahy, WI – Jul. 27, 2016 – Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. (NYSE: RRTS), a leading asset-light transportation and logistics service provider, today reported financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2016.

Revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 decreased to $483.4 million from $517.9 million for the same quarter in 2015. Operating income was $8.6 million, compared to $31.2 million for the prior year quarter. Diluted earnings per share available to common stockholders was $0.05 for the second quarter of 2016, compared to $0.42 for the second quarter of 2015. Results for the second quarter of 2016 included $0.05 of downsizing costs.

Roadrunner Expands Expedited Freight Service From Chicago

(NYSE: RRTS) today announced the expansion of its less-than-truckload service to include expedited freight service to Los Angeles metro, Atlanta metro and Dallas metro from Chicago, Ill. The new service offering from Roadrunner Guarantee, the solution for time sensitive LTL freight shipments, began May 2, 2016.

Roadrunner Company Prime Distribution Services Opens New Location In Plainfield, Indiana

Cudahy, WI – May 5, 2016 – Prime Distribution Services (PDS), a Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. (NYSE: RRTS) company that provides warehousing, consolidation and transportation solutions, announced the opening of its new location in Plainfield, Ind. on May 11, 2016. This is the second Plainfield facility for the company.

The new location, referred to as Airtech, has 300,000 square feet of warehousing space, allowing the facility to accommodate up to 20,000 pallets. Additionally, it has 30 dock doors so trucks can be loaded and unloaded quickly and systematically. The Airtech facility will offer dry warehousing space, with refrigerated warehousing solutions continuing to be offered at the PDS Allpoints Facility in Plainfield.

Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 decreased 4.8% to $465.6 million from $489.0 million for the same quarter in 2015. Operating income was $10.6 million, compared to $26.8 million for the prior year quarter.
