Interim Financial Report Q3 2013

Published by:

We have released our financial report for the period 1 January – 30 September 2013

Jens Bjorn Andersen, CEO: “The markets of DSV are still characterised by low growth and fierce competition. DSV is on the right track and is gaining market share in most markets, and we are making strong headway within sea freight in particular. The reported operating profit for Q3 is in line with last year and our cash flow also shows positive development. Under the circumstances we are satisfied with this performance, however it is obvious that DSV’s goal is to deliver earnings growth.”

DSV maintains its full-year outlook for 2013 previously announced.

DSV wins European 3PL award

A panel of industry experts picks DSV as best 3PL in the category Chemical/HazMat/Oil & Gas supply chains

We are very proud that industry experts and customers have picked DSV to win the award.  Meinderdjan Botman, Vice President of Global Business Development in DSV comments:

Last year we won the EFT award for best 3PL for Healthcare and Life Sciences supply chains. Now we are awarded for Chemical/HazMat/Oil & Gas supply chains. It’s great to see that our customers obviously value our services as best-in-class in more industry segments.

Each year the eyefortransport 3PL Awards aim to recognise those 3PLs that continuously deliver excellence in logistics operations and superior service to their customers. The nominees are shortlisted by a panel of industry experts, and the winners are then voted on and decided by European 3PL customers – the manufacturers and retailers who depend upon and work with logistics service providers every day.

According to the award host, eyefortransport, the winners can feel confident in the knowledge that their customers have chosen them as best-of-breed partners in supply chain excellence.

The event itself took place at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam.
