UK Mail invests £1.3m in extension at national hub

Apr 25, 2017 – UK Mail – one of the UK’s leading integrated mail and parcel providers has announced plans to invest £1.3m in a fully automated parcel sorting system at their national UK hub near Coventry. The extension is scheduled to be completed by end of 2017 and will create a number of new operational based jobs.

In response to increased demand from the e-commerce sector, UK Mail has combined the flexibility to sort a wide spectrum of products with later cut-off times, leading to growth in the number of parcels that the network is handling. This growth has prompted expansion of UK Mail’s parcel network in addition to the extension of the sorting system in its national hub.
