Estes Opens 65-Door Terminal in Kent, Washington

May 18, 2015 , KENT, Wash.—Estes Express Lines, a premier freight transportation provider, has opened a new terminal in Kent, Washington, to accommodate increased demand for the company‘s services in the Northwest.

“The Northwest region has experienced significant business growth over the past several years,” said John Buffington, Estes Regional Vice President. “The Kent terminal will help Estes manage this increased demand in freight services while continuing to serve our customers with outstanding customer service and reliability.”

Conveniently located at 8130 South 216th Street, the Kent terminal features 65 doors, 24,000 square feet of docking area and 5,000 square feet of office space. The terminal began operating as an Estes facility on May 11 under the supervision of Terminal Manager Alex Hernandez. With the opening of the Kent terminal, Estes now operates five terminals in Washington.
